It seemed like everyone was watching the NFL playoffs yesterday as the swell dramatically increased throughout the day on Sunday as the tide descended. I’m out with a sprained ankle, but took the boys to the reefs for some afternoon fun.

Great slide show! Do you ever get worried for the boys that they might enocunter a shark and how do you deal with that? I have always loved the idea of surfing but I am too much of a chicken and not physically fit enough. I’m what happens when you see films like Jaws way too young!
As a dad I’m always worried about the boys. But the chance of encountering a shark is really very slim. I get more worried about them hitting the bottom and breaking their neck.
